I made this blog to let you know what's going on with me in Albania!

I am originally from Chesterfield, Missouri (outside St. Louis), where my parents still live. I have an identical twin sister, Stephanie, who lives in Chicago. I earned a BS in Journalism from the University of Kansas in 2002- go Jayhawks!! A year after graduating I moved to Denton, Texas to do a women's discipleship program at Denton Bible Church, and lived there until the summer of 2006. I got my alternative certification at the University of North Texas, and am certified to teach Special Ed and Math. I am also about 4 classes away from finshing my masters in Special Education! I taught for teach years at Blalack Middle School and loved it. I have learned a lot from the great staff and enjoyed the students, and my experience is a help to me in Albania. Last year I taught 7th and 8th grade at GDQ School in Tirana, Albania. This coming year I am teaching English to grades 5-8.
